Celebration in Madison for having sent 1 million pounds of books from Wis. to far off lands. Past Pres. Rolly Peckus represented Kenosha Rotary. Our club is supplying books from area donors. |
| 2011 Club Pres. Accepts ESGR Award |

Member and Retired Lt. Col Tom McTernan and Member Bob Nelson stepped forward on behalf of the ESGR (Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve). In Kenosha County, two “Freedom Awards” were awarded to employers for their support of employees who serve in the National Guard or Army Reserve. Employees nominate their employers for this award.
Honored today were the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and the Kenosha Fire Department. Sheriff Beth accepted the first award from Sgt. Terry Tifft. Chief Thomsen accepted the second award from Cpt. Dan Tilton.

“Service Above Self” Recognition Awards. Kemper Center’s own Bob Schaffer has been an incredible help to our club over the years in more ways than we know. Bob was presented with a plaque and two sets of Snap-on tools. Congratulations to Bob on a well deserved recognition.
The Business and Business Persons Recognition award went to Steve and Lisa Heckel of Kenosha Tire commending their commitment to their customers and the community. Congratulations Steve and Lisa! |
