of the Scourge of Crippling and Often Lethal Polio

of the communicable disease polio.

Following a small demonstration project, Rotarians worldwide joined hands in 1985 and have raised hundreds of millions of dollars.  The job is nearly finished.  Bill and Melinda Gates are helping lead the effort in this decade of our fight.
